More of My Sculpted Coil Pendants
Yet another of my sculpted coil pendants. I've been neck deep in custom orders lately and today I just had to break away and make something I've been wanting to make. I wanted to play around with my sculpted coil pendants again, this time working on a symetrical piece. It's so difficult to try to get one side to mirror the other. I managed to get pretty close on this one, though it's not perfect by any measure. That's okay, that's how ya know it's handmade! :) I've included two pictures here. The one with the white background shows the accent stones stitched into the frame work better. The one with the driftwood in it shows off the colors of the main stone much better. I like it a lot - you did great job with it and you're right - left and right sides really mirror each other :)

This is awesome! I love it. You inspire me to work with more coiling. Did you do a tut for this one?

Delia, this very pretty, but I think it would look even more dramatic if you oxidized it!

Iza,
Thank you for a fine compliment. A compliment from you is a compliment indeed! :) Playing with this pendant has given me a few more ideas too - which will be fun to bring to fruition. Now, to find the time. :::sigh::: Many thanks for the kind words. :)
Eni,
Ahhh... you know my heart! :D I do so love the oxidized look. I originally planned to oxidize it but have been second guessing myself over the last few days. Considering the fact that I admire your work and your opinion greatly, I think I will go ahead and do it based on your recommendation.
