Azure Xtabay Barbados

Playing catch up here with a vengeance... While still not very talkative I did want to point out a few of the finer qualities of this pendant. For starters its one of the smallest pendants I've created in quite a while measuring in at 1 1/8” x ½”... The large center stone is rough Aquamarine, with a dark green rough Emerald  on top... I so love the gemstones in the rough, you can really get a feeling from the stone...Then I surrounded the rough Aquamarine with 2mm faceted sapphires...  I actually set stones as small as 2mm FINALLY :) YEAH  been working on it for quite some time now... using nothing but wire to do it with :) Poor torch wants to know why I bought it if I'm never going to use it... LOL
OK hope yall enjoy this piece I know I had a great time in creating it :)
Oh and before I forget, the color scheme reminds me of the water that surrounds Barbados.Axtry2

I,m trying to add a picture of the piece so you can see its real size hope this works...

Okay...you've blown me away with this piece...2mm stones...it makes my head spin just thinking about it...you've definitely set the bar higher! =)

thanks sweetie :) its what keeps me sane at the moment... so now you understand why I'm searching for some really small wire :)

I'm so jealous, and secretly trying to figure out how you set stones that small. I have these teeny tiny beautiful faceted loose gemstones that a friend gave me, and I can't even fathom setting something that small. You've blown me away with your work here.

Robbie, I'm so happy to see your new pieces here - this one is made in a style I adore really much. I can see you have plenty of ideas and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your gorgeous pieces :D

Holy cow, my eyes would be screaming. I too love those rough stones, there's just something about them that speaks to you. All four pieces are lovely, Robbie.

Nicki
these have taken me years to figure out :) LOL I tried to add a new picture to show you how it looks in its natural size, you can barely see the stones then :(

Thanks, at least we can wow each other with our pieces... I'm still in awe of the razor :) LOL

Shelia
thanks sweetie, and you just gave me an idea... I've been complaining about my eyesight, now I'm wondering if its my eyes or the work I'm doing :) LOL
