Week 3
Any of you Aussies collect sea glass? I'm kinda reaching to stay on theme. We were in St. Thomas this week and this is a piece of Coke-bottle green sea glass I found on Sapphire Beach.
As a kid I used to tumble rocks and wrap them in wire to make pendants, so a few years ago when I started collecting sea glass I was tickled that my fingers remembered what to do to make a secure freeform wrap. Sea glass is usually easier for me to wrap than those slippery rounded stones, and this piece was especially fun because of all the knobs on it. Based on the shape I think it must have been part of a jug handle or the bottom corner of a bottle.
I welcome your feedback, so feel free to comment!

This is so beautiful. I love sea glass. I need to work with some sea glass sometime. I just love them. You have done such a lovely job with the way you have twirled the wire around on it.
