This was part of a bracelet that became a prototype piece. Instead of putting the whole thing into scrap, I pulled apart one side from the other. With a little soldering, and wrapping...the results yielded a pendant. I'm going to put it on a simple black leather cord.

I purchased some of Jacqueline's lampwork that has crescent shaped moons on them. The texture of the black & white agate represents the rough surface of the moon. That particular part of the necklace is done ala Eni. To complete the length I used Viking Knit made from copper wire...it picks up some of the color in the agate. =)

I haven't been able to keep up with this year's challenge, too much has been going on in real life. However here is a set that I made recently to go with the tutorial I wrote.
This is obviously another one of my angels. It is made with a dichroic stone from one of my students.
This piece took me forever to make. The bails kept melting as I tried to attach them. It was really frustrating. But in the end I really like how the piece turned out.
I call this one "Torched" I wanted the look to be as though it had melted. So I did that in two spots. First the outer frame is missing on the lower right and then to mimic that, I have chipped away at the bezel on the upper left corner, so it almost looks like burned paper. Of course, it isn't really torched as it is bright silver. The back on this one is stunning and most people actually like the back better than the front. I never know how to take those comments. ;)

I bought this Labradorite over a year ago. I spent way more than I wanted to on it, but is sure was pretty. I actually designed the piece to hang upside down from what it is now, but you know how it is with flashy stones, sometimes they just want to hang the other way. The back of this piece looks pretty neat too. You can see it on my Design Journal.
This is another piece I made during a class to show how to solder and do tube settings. The stone is a 4mm Iolite. The stone is so pretty and is a dark blue/purple. One of these days I am going to figure out how to photograph these stupid things so they actually look as nice as they really are.

I made this one a little while back while trying to figure out how everyone does such a beautiful job with the wire weaving. As you can see, I still have quite a long way to go. But I do like how it turned out. I even made a pair of earrings to go with it.
