Some simple swirly earings for this week - with citrine, freshwater pearls, smokey quartz, rose quartz and some little opal beads. I’ve been playing with swirls lately and trying to jazz them up in different ways; these are still missing that little something - I know what it is but I’m out of the itty bitty silver beads I need … it’s really bugging me! Anyway, when that’s sorted I’ll give it a proper polish and take a proper photo - but for now this will have to do! 
Due to more than one family crisis I am posting quite late. These are earrings based on Eni's netting tutorial, one using teardrop cultured pearls, and the other pink jade. Both garnished with tiny garnets. Due to lack of time and good lighting, I must pass up photographing...I am using my scanner, which does not really grasp the beauty of these earrings.
It's late, but isn't "late" when you most need some "black coffee"? Named for the Swarovski "coffee bean" beads, it's a wrapped-loop chain of sterling, onyx, and Swarovski beads on sterling wire. I love the clear and black swarovski bead in the pendant.

Caught up! I do hope this isn't a regular occurrence this year! My piece for week 3 is this feather pendant shaped from 0.8mm square sterling and embelished with 3mm tourmaline beads. More in my blog
bbbbrrrrrrrrrr....I really need to figure out a way to photograph items indoors. I had to almost chisel them out of the snow because they froze while being photographed.
The stone used is Orange Garnet, and is simply lovely. The wire is 24G sterling and copper, twisted together in a slightly different and wasteful way. I took two long lengths, folded them in half, and then twisted. About half of the resulting twisted wire wasn't usable because of lumpy areas, and in some parts, the wires doubled up rather than laying as they do in the earrings. A learning experience no doubt. So, the twisted wire was then coiled onto 14G copper, LOS'd and tumbled.

This is the new piece this week I'm happiest with, a one and a half inch wide ginkgo. I made it for someone in particular but made extras. My blog has pictures in different stages. -Beth
Once again, I am continuing my chain maille adventure. This is a Full Persian weave, made with SS 20ga 4mm id rings. After my error on the ring size for 18 ga wire, I was afraid it would be too tight, but it is ok. It could be a "tad" more flexible, but it bends nicely around the wrist. I have worn it to work and have a possible order for one, once I figure out the price. I think it is my favorite weave so far, and I would love to make one with mixed metals.
WOW... I had something planned for this one as well, but when this lemon quartz Laser arrived, I fell in love and HAD to use it! It's a carved piece of lemon quartz (which I think is just a fancy way of saying yellow glass, but it's so pretty, who cares?), with what appeared to me to be a butterfly on the front. This was a challenging piece to do, as the edges were carved as well, and the prongs had to sit in pretty exact places! It took a few hours to work it out, but I am pretty happy with it! AND, YES... the side prongs are supposed to be that big. I really wanted to make sure that they had a good grip on this large piece!
This pendant combines a painted background (acrylic paint on paper) and a corrugated, hand-formed copper shape for a centerpiece. The bezel is aluminum and the bail is Argentium silver. The copper piece is set in resin.
