Just some simple earrings from me this week.  For more information, please visit my blog.

Caren_week_10_2 I'm catching up after a bought with carpel tunnel that started 3 weeks ago after a squash lesson. I started off with blue for the Ocean breezes theme and this is where it led me.

Eni_pendant_small_3 Hmm - can you tell - I saw Jean Power this weekend!

I made this pendant at the weekend based on Eni Oken's Instructions.  The bead is a clear AB Swarovksi button about 25mm large, wire wrapped in sterling silver.

I struggled to get the fit quite right - and if you look closely you can see a gap just to the left of the spiral.  Luckily because its a button, i could secure it on the back so its pretty solid and won't fall out!!!!

This is a modified and more organic version of the Mosaic Pendant, it has an outer frame attached to the inner frame. The pendant measures 1-3/4" high, not including the woven bail. Goldfilled wire, AAA grade citrine and hessonite, madeira citrine, champagne citrine, vermeil beads. To see more images, read the Journal.

Late again!
I made this a few weeks ago but haven't had the time to take the photo and post it.
It's a cuff bracelet made using Eni Oken's Woven Cuff tutorial which was great fun.
Really nice to drag out all those beads I'd been saving for a special piece and actually use them. There's a mix of crystals, lampwork, semi-precious, silver and glass beads in there- a real tresure chest!

My first fibulas were for the YOJ in early January and I'm really enjoying exploring the different ways
of creating for this kind of wearable art. It's just the kind of project I needed to incorporate some of
my one-of-a-kind beads, charms and findings and appeals to my "use-it-up, wear-it-out, make-it-do,
or do without" philosophy! I'm struggling with my soldering skills but am determined to master it.
I really only have a problem with attaching the jump rings as they are fiddly.
This pin still needs a polish....but I'm thrilled with it....

Umlti_pardadise Well it is not on theme, but I did make it this week and I love it. Tons of crazy stone and bone bead dangle from faceted tiger eye. As spring gets closer I seem to be making more and more colorful jewelry.

ARGH..I haven't posted since week 5.  I am too busy right now to do back posting to I will resume with week 10:)  (I opened a ETSY store and have been swamped with commissions..wooooohoooo)

These hand wrought copper and silver chains are holding a 17X20 mm borosilicate lampwork bead that has been electroformed with pure copper. The boro was not designed by me.

Im pretty happy with this:)

I missed everyone!!

I have made a Sterling Silver ring, on the theme of a vessel (sailing on the Ocean...)

Gave it a rough finish  for a battered by the Ocean and the winds look.

Ring_0001

The rings is heavy and feels great around my finger.

I intend to cast a few more and give them different finishes, like shiny or fabricated with a few gem stones...
