Deco Tiger
A bit of a stretch theme wise but Tigers are warm and fuzzy. =)
Yes...I watch HSN and Jewelry TV to ogle jewelry. Well I saw a really cool stretch Tiger Eye and Onyx bracelet that had Mother of Pearl cabs set onto the sections of Onyx. My dear sweet husband said "if you want it...get it" so I did. And don'tcha know I have to have a necklace to go with the bracelet. =)
I combined the tear drop shaped Tiger Eye cab with a round Onyx cab to created the focal. After the usual soldering of the bezel wire onto the sheet silver...I sawed the final shape, attached a bail, filed, sanded and polished the piece.
Once complete I strung the necklace with a sterling silver tube, faceted Onyx, faceted Tiger Eye, Mother of Pearl nuggets and sterling silver beads. Jump-rings were added as an extender so that the necklace has a little versatility to it. =)
Thank you,
Deborah aka Sneekbead
