Week - 42 Breast Cancer Awareness
These were inspired by the "Think Pink" theme. I used 18 gauge stering silver wire flatten for the triangle shaped frame. Then outlined the frame with cultured freshwater pearls. In the center of the ribbon I used different shades of pink and different sizes of Swarovski Crystal to create a mosic look. The ribbon is 18 gauge wire then wrapped with ss 3mm beads (which I think might be to big). Finally, I oxidized the earrings using a tutorial that was on Delia Stone's website.
Breast cancer has not hit my family, but we are no strangers to cancer. My mom had uterine cancer, she beat it. My nephew had brain cancer at age 7; he is now 19 and cancer free. My father-in-law had prostate cancer, beat it but passed away from heart failure. My mother-in-law passed away from liver cancer when I was 8 months pregnant with my son. Then my aunt who died prematurely at 53 from pancreatic cancer, this one still stings. Thank you for the opportunity to tell my store, I really appreciate it.
Very clever design! They are beautiful.
I'm sorry your family has gone through so much.
